Zion Kids Palace, located in Kashari, Mbarara, Uganda, is an  early learning center that was formed out of the need to provide affordable, accessible and quality education for young children born and raised in rural areas of western Uganda.

Early education in Uganda is predominately operated by private entrepreneurs who are generally located in urban, cash basis or profit oriented areas and they only offer limited services to urban dwellers and the richer minority.

In previous years, parents in this community and surrounding areas were frustrated because there were no quality education for their children forcing each parent  to send their children to nearby towns. Each child was transported by motor bike making it  expensive and quite risky due to frequent accidents.

As a solution to help out this community, Zion Kids Palace was formed. And what we do as a school means a lot to the parents and even more to the children who come to this school.  Due to popular demand, attendance for the school has increased beyond the capacity we can provide for the kids.  We know that we are making a difference and impacting the lives of children when they are able to receive  quality education.
